1. The OT is divided into four major sections: Law, History, Poetry, and
    Prophecy.


2. The purpose of the Gospel historians was to identify Jesus as the
    promised Messiah.


3. Acts gives the historical development of the Early Church.


4. The Pauline letters and General Epistles provide doctrine and
    instruction directly to the Church.


5. Revelation concludes the story of human history, revealing Jesus as
    the glorified and conquering King of Kings.
