Paul Burress grew up in a Christian home in Rochester, NY. He attended Baptist Bible College, Springfield, MO. The summer after his sophomore year in college, Paul was hired as a youth pastor at Bellview Baptist Church. He served there for six years. While ministering at the church, he ran multi-state youth camps and began speaking at churches and conferences nationwide. He also co-authored the book, "Greenhorns." Paul returned to Rochester, NY in 2000 where he has run young adults, martial arts, military, law enforcement and Karate for Christ ministries. Paul continues to speak for churches, evangelistic meetings, camps and retreats on a regular basis.
Paul became a full-time Chaplain with Good News Jail & Prison Ministry in Monroe and Wayne Counties, NY on September 1, 2002. Paul lives in Rochester, NY, with his wife, Jill. They have a daughter, Zorah Mae, and a son, Xander Paul.
