  Andrea Pitcher was raised in a godly Christian home and came to know Christ as her Savior as a young child. She surrendered to missions at a young age and knew God’s calling was on her life.

    Andrea has a Master’s degree in clinical psychology and a minor in Christian counseling. After graduation, she went to serve as a missionary in Europe during the historic summer marking the fall of the Iron Curtain. In Germany, she met and married her husband, Ken. They have spent their entire married life in Europe serving first in Germany and then moving to the Czech Republic in 1994. Ken and Andrea have four children, Nicholas (16), Zachary (15), Nathan (13) and Grace (12). They serve with Josiah Venture, a mission that trains youth pastors and young leaders in 12 Eastern European countries.

    The Pitchers have returned to the United States after spending 20 years in Europe and turning over their local church and Bible institute in the Czech Republic to national leaders. Ken’s role is now expanded as a church planting coach in Europe and will entail extensive travel while Andrea and their children will stay in the Rochester area.

    Andrea loves to teach God’s Word in a way that is practical and meets the needs of our hearts. She loves to meet God’s people anywhere in the world and looks forward to sharing life and God’s Word with you today!
